General effects of magnetic field therapy:

In contrast to anti-inflammatory drugs, which produce a vasoconstrictive effect (and therefore slow down blood and lymph circulation with subsequent slowing down of cell processes), magnetic therapy acts on pain and swelling, avoids the undesirable side effects of drugs and instead enhances regenerative processes:

Instructions for use

• accustom the horse gradually, as it may feel a slight tickling sensation at the beginning caused by the increased localised blood flow
• it is advisable to monitor the horse during the first few applications to prevent it from damaging the protector
• can be used on horses of all ages and sexes when the horse is resting, including permanent use if necessary
• only apply when the horse is resting and cooled down to avoid possible disturbances that could irritate the horse's behaviour
• not suitable for paddock use or dynamic activities (e.g. grazing, lunging, riding, etc.)

Caution:

• If injuries are present, do not use in the acute phase (in the first 5 days)!
• Do not use if there are significant haematomas, open wounds, bleeding, injuries or untreated infections, as the magnetic effect could contribute to an expansion of the area affected by these pathologies!
• Do not use in combination with anti-inflammatory drugs or ointments or with liquefying agents applied to the areas affected by the magnetic treatment!
• Do not use in the presence of a person with a pacemaker!
• It is not a medical product!

Effect of reflexology:

By using reflexology, i.e. by magnetically stimulating the reflex points (Ting) on certain meridians of the horse (the same ones used in acupuncture), moderate balancing effects are achieved:

• The 3 external magnets, in the immediate vicinity of the Yin BL meridian (Bladder - Ting BL58-60-64), can have a positive effect on pain and circulatory disorders in the neck and spine.
• The 3 internal magnets in the immediate vicinity of the Yang KI (Kidney - Ting KI2-7) meridian can stimulate blood circulation by having a mild calming and anxiety-relieving effect.
