Kentucky Horsewear Mesh Fly Rug

This fly rug can be used to prevent irritation caused by insects. The material of dense mesh keeps most insects away and is particularly tear-resistant. Therefore, this rug is also ideal for horses with sensitive skin. On the inside, the fabric is smooth so that no hair sticks to it. The light color of the rug reflects sun rays and ensures that it does not heat up. The material is permeable to air and breathable. The area around the mane, chest and tail is equipped with a smooth polyester, so the rug does not chafe in these places. The rug is closed with a strong Velcro closure and a triangular closure, so that there is a relieving effect on the chest and withers. This gives the rug a high wearing comfort. Thanks to the strong closures, the rug stays securely in place even when rolling. The triangle closures allow the rug to be individually adjusted to the horse's body for an ideal fit. For added protection, the rug features a belly flap that closes tightly against the belly with a Velcro closure and three straps. This gives pesky insects no chance to fly in from the side. The tail flap is extended and has an elastic band to keep the tail close to the rug. For added protection and extra comfort, a removable neck piece is included, which has a reinforced edge on both sides so it won't slip over the neck. At the same time, it takes pressure off the mane, making the rug comfortable to wear when grazing.
