Trust Sweet Iron Pony Loose Ring Bit, Eliptical

The pony loose ring bit by Trust is anatomically shaped and specially adapted to the size of a pony's mouth, so that the mouthpiece is thinner and the side pieces are smaller. The snaffle has loose rings, so that the rider's aids are received more indirectly. In addition, the loose rings allow the bit to move more freely in the mouth, which makes it very well accepted by most ponies. The standard double-broken mouthpiece has two hinges and distributes the pressure to the tongue, the interdental spaces and the corners of the mouth. The blue colour on the bit is a Sweet Iron alloy which forms surface rust on contact with moisture. This rust tastes sweet to most ponies, naturally stimulating saliva production and chewing activity.

Note: When not in use, a thin layer of orange-brown rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and is not a quality defect!
