Trust Leather Beval Staight Bar Bit

This Beval by Trust is a special version of the loose ring bit, which has two integrated half rings. The cheek piece is attached to the upper half ring and the rein can be attached either to the lower half ring or to the large ring. When attached to the lower half-ring, a slight leverage effect is created, when attached to the large ring, pressure is exerted to lower the head. The mouthpiece is a straight bar of leather with a nylon core. The saliva makes the leather soft and supple, so that it is very well accepted, as it adapts perfectly to the anatomy of the horse's mouth. Even sensitive and mouth-sensitive horses usually get along very well with this mouthpiece. The leather is tanned without chemicals, so it poses no danger to humans or animals. To keep it soft and supple, it should be greased regularly with olive oil.

Note: The bit must be attached so that the seam faces the mouth opening. As it is a soft material, it may show signs of wear from the horse's teeth. These do not represent a quality defect.
