Beris Kimblewick Bit with Butterfly Snaffle
As the name suggests, the jumping combi-bridle combines several features. One is the leverage effect on the lower jaw branches, the pressure development on the neck, as well as the variable position in the mouth. The three different buckling possibilities allow a well-dosed use of the dentition, so that the dentition can be adjusted to different demands and wishes at any time and everywhere. Due to the anatomically preformed bar, the denture lies very still in the mouth, which is additionally supported by the somewhat heavier side parts. The additional bit discs effectively prevent jamming of the lips and thus contribute to the well-being of the horse. The special feature here is the butterfly bar, which is a real innovation in the field of bitting. Its "wings" attached to the side of the bar increase the contact surface of the bit, making it more comfortable and distributing the pressure more evenly. The recess in the central part of the bit provides additional space for the tongue and therefore comfort, which increases the horse's well-being many times over. However, if traction is applied to the bit, the bar rotates in the mouth and the two "wings" exert selective pressure on the tongue. For this reason the bit requires a particularly sensitive rider's hand.
