Trust Sweet Iron Kimblehook Dr. Bristol
This Kimblehook Dr. Bristol comes by Trust and is a special variation of the jumping curb bit which is ridden with only one rein. The rider has the option of attaching the rein in different positions so that he can individually adjust the sharpness of the bit. The lower the rein, the greater the leverage and the sharper the bit. The Dr. Bristol mouthpiece is double-broken and has an angled, flat-edged centre piece which acts mainly on the tongue. Due to the angled flat plate and the low angle on the interdental space, this mouthpiece has a very sharp action and should only be used by experienced, sensitive riders. Saliva production and chewing activity is also naturally stimulated by the Sweet Iron alloy as it forms sweet tasting surface rust for horses when in contact with moisture. The Kimblehook Dr. Bristol is suitable for horses that become very strong in the course and go against the hand.
Note: When not in use a thin layer of orange-brown rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and is not a quality defect.
