Trust Sweet Iron Full Cheek Bit Medium Port

This full cheek bit is made by Trust and is handcrafted from particularly high-quality materials. The side piece consists of long bars, which exert more pressure on the cheeks, so that a certain lateral limitation is created. Thanks to this limitation, the horse is supported in the turns during stance and bend. The rings for the reins are firmly attached to the mouthpiece, creating a particularly stable and steady position in the horse's mouth. To avoid injuries, the bars are slightly bent outwards. This model has a bar as the mouthpiece, which has a curve, so that there is more room for the tongue and the pressure on the middle of the tongue is significantly reduced. The Sweet Iron alloy of the mouthpiece develops a sweet-tasting surface rust on contact with moisture for horses. This characteristic ensures a high level of acceptance and also stimulates the flow of saliva in a completely natural way.

Note: When not in use, a thin, orange-brown layer of rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and does not represent a quality defect!
