Trust Sweet Iron Full Cheek Bit Low Port

This full cheek bit is made by Trust and has a bar bit with a small tongue clearance. This means that there is a small recess so that the pressure on the middle of the tongue is reduced and there is more room for manoeuvre. In addition, the mouthpiece has a special Sweet Iron alloy which reacts with moisture and forms surface rust. For horses, rust tastes sweet, so the bit is much better accepted and saliva production is stimulated in a natural way. The side piece consists of long bars which are slightly bent outwards. This puts more pressure on the cheeks and supports the horse in stance and bend. The ring for the rein is firmly connected to the mouthpiece, which ensures a calm and stable position in the horse's mouth.

Note: When not in use, a thin orange-brown layer of rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and is not a quality defect!
