Trust Sweet Iron Pony Full Cheek Bit, Eliptical

The Trust Pony full cheek bit has a eliptical mouthpiece with a Sweet Iron alloy. The mouthpiece is adapted to the needs of a pony's mouth and exerts pressure mainly on the interdental space, the corners of the mouth and the tongue. The special alloy stimulates saliva production and chewing activity naturally, as contact with moisture produces sweet-tasting surface rust for ponies. The side pieces consist of bars that exert pressure on the cheeks. This restricts the pony laterally and supports it in turns. The rein is attached to fixed rings, giving the bit a steady and stable position. The bit is ideal for young ponies and for those that have problems with stance and bend. To avoid injury, the bit should be placed in the mouth with the bars facing outwards.

Note: When not in use, a thin layer of orange-brown rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and is not a quality defect!
