- slightly curved and tilted forward, with tongue clearance, beveled transitions to the side section
- Slight relief of the middle of the tongue, less pressure on the edges of the tongue
- even pressure distribution over the entire tongue when reins are tightened
- suitable for curb bit beginners, sensitive horses and to familiarize a horse with the curb bit
- neck pressure is comparatively low at 5 cm under the reins due to the short lever, but occurs more quickly, therefore a sensitive rider's hand is required
