The Air Tech eventing boots by Kentucky Horsewear consist of five layers. On the inside is a breathable lining that feels comfortable on the horse's skin and prevents rubbing. The material also prevents the gaiter from slipping or twisting. The second layer is made of a 5 mm thick EVA foam, which is very light and absorbs shocks. In addition, the horse's leg is stabilized. The EVA foam is perforated with ventilation holes that dissipate generated body heat to the outside and prevent heat accumulation. The third layer is a 2 mm thick TPU hard shell, which absorbs even stronger impacts and protects the horse's leg from possible injuries caused by the horseshoe and studs. Another layer of 5mm thick EVA foam has been added to the rear of the gaiter, providing additional protection from the hind legs. The outer layer is made of perforated synthetic leather.
