Stübben Steeltec double ring bridle
The double ring bridle is a classic bit for riding, where the "loose" rings, i.e. the rings that are not threaded through the mouthpiece, are hooked into the cheek pieces of the riding bridle and the lines are buckled into the "normal" bit rings. This system is intended to increase the mobility of the bit. Since the cheek pieces are firmly connected with the noseband of a driving bridle, there is often a rigid effect, which is loosened by the double ring bridle.
