Trust Sweet Iron 2,5-Ring Olive Head Bit Dr. Bristol

This 2,5-ring olive head bit is a high-quality model by Trust, which has a special variant of the double-broken mouthpiece. This model has a flat-edged, angled plate in the middle, so that when pressure is applied to the reins, a sharp action is exerted on the tongue. This makes this mouthpiece ideal for horses that go against the hand or become very strong in the course. The side piece consists of an olive head ring which has a small, attached ring and an additional integrated ring. Depending on how the bit is attached, a leverage effect can be created. The lower the rein is attached, the sharper the effect of the bit. In this way, the rider can decide individually how the bit should work. Chewing activity and saliva production are naturally stimulated by the Sweet Iron alloy, as surface rust develops on contact with moisture, which tastes sweet to most horses.

Note: When not in use, a thin layer of orange-brown rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and is not a quality defect!
