Trust Baby Pelham Sweet Iron Waterford
The Sweet Iron Baby Pelham by Trust combines the action of a snaffle and a curb bit. This bit can be ridden with one or two reins, depending on your preference. For use with only one rein, pelham straps are necessary to connect the bit rings to the rings of the thighs. These straps are not included and must be purchased separately. The Baby Pelham has suits with a length of 4 cm. The Waterford mouthpiece consists of several rounded links and can move freely in all directions, thus the horse has hardly any possibility to lie down on the bit. The blue color is a special coating which forms surface rust when in contact with moisture. For horses rust tastes sweetish, so the acceptance of the bit is increased in a natural way. The Baby Pelham in combination with the Waterford Mouthpiece should only be used by experienced riders with a fine hand.
Note: When not in use, a thin orange-brown layer of rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and is not a quality defect!
