Trust Sweet Iron Baby Pelham, Eliptical

The Baby Pelham by Trust is equipped with a double-broken mouthpiece, which also has a Sweet Iron coating. This special coating forms surface rust on contact with moisture, which tastes sweet to the horses, thus increasing the chewing activity and acceptance of the bit. A pelham combines the action of a curb and snaffle and can be ridden with either one or two reins. A Pelham is ideal for horses that need to get used to a double bridle or for horses that do not have enough room in their mouth for two bits. The double broken mouthpiece is one of the standard bits and puts pressure on the tongue, the loading and the jaw. If you want to use the pelham with only one rein, pelham straps are necessary, which are not included.

Note: When not in use, a thin layer of orange-brown rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and is not a quality defect!
