Trust Leather Loose Ring Bit

This loose ring bit is a very special model by Trust, as it has a leather mouthpiece. The core of the mouthpiece is made of reinforced nylon, which is covered with leather. To keep the leather supple, it should be greased regularly with olive oil. The horse's saliva makes the bit softer and more flexible, so it is very suitable for horses that are sensitive to mouth. In addition, the leather is tanned naturally without any chemicals. The mouthpiece is correctly fitted when the seam of the leather points towards the mouth opening. The side piece is a water snaffle, which means that the rings are free to move so that there is more movement throughout the bit.The rings on this loose ring bit are smaller than on the normal model, so that the aids are more direct.  

Note: The bit must be fitted so that the seam faces the mouth opening. As the material is soft, it may show signs of wear from the horse's teeth. These do not represent a quality defect.
