Trust Hackamore Combi Long Sweet Iron Waterford
The Hackamore Combi Waterford byTrust is, as the name suggests, a combination of a hackamore with long shanks and a Waterford mouthpiece. Such a combination is mainly seen in show jumping with very eager horses. The side bit rings made of rubber protect the chaps from getting pinched. The long shanks create a strong leverage effect and pressure is applied to the neck, nose, chin and mouth. With this enormously strong action, the Hackamore Combi should only be used by experienced riders. The Waterford mouthpiece consists of a series of individual links and is freely movable in all directions. Thanks to this mobility, the horse has hardly any chance to lie down on the bit. The blue color on the bit is the so-called Sweet Iron alloy, which naturally stimulates the horse's saliva production.
Note: When not in use, a thin orange-brown layer of rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and is not a quality defect!
