Product description

Trust Curb Gag Eggbutt Dr. Bristol

Trust's "sweet iron" bits have a mouthpiece made of steel, which has a recognizable blue color. When this special alloy comes into contact with moisture, a kind of surface rust is formed, which tastes sweet and thus naturally stimulates saliva production. For this reason Trust bits are accepted and accepted by almost all horses. Due to this rust development (oxidation) the blue color of the TRUST bit changes to gray to brown. The Sweet Iron bit will form a thin orange-brown layer of rust on the mouthpiece when temporarily not in use. This can be easily removed with a damp cloth. The special thing about wind-up bridles are the nylon cords, which are threaded through the side of the bit and on the lower ring of which you can attach another rein. The upper part is buckled into the halter like a cheek piece. This system aims to lift and tilt the bit when the reins are accepted and should therefore only be used with fine aids. Ride-up bridles are especially suitable for horses that are very strong or for very sensitive horses, as the rider gains a maximum of control due to the double bridle guidance. The lateral "olives" of the olive head bit, effectively prevent the lips from being pinched and thus contribute to the wearing comfort. The flattened mouthpiece achieves a stronger effect on the tongue because its rounded contours exert pressure on the tongue.
